
GUY ARAB 2 DOUBLE DECK
NORTHERN COUNTIES. These first 53 Guy Arab 2 6LW buses were first ordered by Walter Alexander with an H30/26R layout and passed into the Fife fleet at the 1961 split. 36 were ordered in 1944 and a further 17 in 1945. RO677 came to Fife in 1950. It was an ex Sutherland of Peterhead bus.

The GYL*** registered vehicles in the next table came to Alexander in 1951 and 1953 from London Transport. The BST/CST reg ones were new to W. Greig of Inverness and came into the Alexander fleet in 1947 when Alexanders bought the Greigs company. All the following buses had 5LW engines.

WEYMANN. 6LW. The first 2 buses were ordered in 1945 having an L27/28R body. The last 3 vehicles came to Fife in 1951 from London Transport. They differed in having a 5LW engine.
