The first 23 entered service between 1999 and 2000. Mainly for use on the Ballingry - Cowdenbeath - Dunfermline - Rosyth route (19). Some were used initially on the Kelty - Dunfermline - Edinburgh service (55) but did not find suitability on that service. Another lot entered service between 2005 and 2006 and are used on Glenrothes - Kirkcaldy routes and around St. Andrews. Bodywork is ALEXANDER or ALEXANDER DENNIS ALX300. They all have a B42F layout.
